Training with Corporates

Our work with directors of leading companies enables their people to perform better, whether selling, negotiating, communicating, leading or managing their time. Our work in the financial, media, publishing and construction sectors has included consultative selling to develop trusted adviser status and closing the sale. We can help you clarify your long term sustainable competitive advantage.

Examples of work with Corporates

  • Helping Corporate Analysts to influence Fund Managers, CEOs and Financial Directors of FTSE 250 companies.
  • Enabling insurance salespeople to improve their negotiation skills and to close the sale with their customers. As a result their customers provided many more referrals leading to more new customers and more business.
  • Improving the confidence of the front-line employees of one of the leading Museums of London in order to promote and sell memberships, leading to increased revenues and funds to purchase more exhibits for the museum.
  • Providing bespoke training in customer service, business planning and sales with a house-building client.

We have developed a range of workshops for our clients including Time Management, Communication, Managing Conflict, Negotiation, Dealing with Difficult People and Focusing on the Future.

Typical questions our corporate clients ask us

How can I get my team to be more productive?

Improved productivity is not about running faster or working longer hours. It is about focusing your effort in the right direction. Making sure you put first things first and have absolute clarity of purpose. The "Leading a great team" and "Effective under Pressure" workshops are ideal to help in this area.

Why aren't there enough hours in the day?

Gandhi was reported to have said "I plan for 2 hours every day – and then when I become more busy I plan for 4 hours every day"

How you organise and use your time is a vital skill. Often we do not take enough time to plan and prioritise our work each week, each month, each quarter. The "Effective under Pressure" workshop is ideal to help in this area.

How can I work with a difficult customer or colleague more easily?

Knowing how to prevent difficult behaviour and how to react, (or not to react) to difficult behaviour is such a useful skill. We have identified seven difficult behaviours including bullying and negativity. Our "Managing Conflict" and "Dealing with Difficult People" workshops are ideal to help in this area.

How do we release the potential within your people and your business?

We provide learning and development consultancy and training. Our aim is to be the best, not at everything, just the key areas in which we work with our clients. Inside each person is a bigger, better, more confident, more effective, more engaging, more successful person. We need to work out how to release that better person.

The true leader helps their people achieve more than they ever thought possible. We can work with you and your colleagues to help you all achieve more than you thought possible.

Our greatest accolade is when we are told by a client “you have fundamentally affected how we do business” or by a delegate “thank you so much, this has really helped me”. (You’ve probably gathered we’re not a big training company, we are relatively small yet we enjoy making a huge impact on our clients’ businesses and people.)
